5月6日，外交部發言人林劍主持例行記者會。有記者就霍爾木茲海峽通航相關問題提問。
對此，林劍表示，中方對海峽局勢的立場很明確，就是希望相關各方審慎行事，避免局勢升級，通過對話化解爭端，早日恢復海峽的和平安寧。中方將為推動海峽局勢的降溫繼續作出努力，也將繼續全力維護中資船舶和中國籍船員的安全。
