今天一大早，我就在朋友圈看到一條祝福：

「Happy Horse Year！」

我真是一口QQㄋㄟㄋㄟ好喝到咩噗茶差點(diǎn)噴出來(lái)，朋友們，球球了！咱們馬年的英文真不是這樣的！

這種「動(dòng)物名+year」的硬核直譯，屬于典型的中式英語(yǔ)思維。它錯(cuò)在哪兒了呢？

在英語(yǔ)里，Happy New Year是一個(gè)固定搭配。中間不能硬插入一個(gè)動(dòng)物，老外說(shuō)生肖年用的是Year of the + 生肖這個(gè)專屬結(jié)構(gòu)。

比如牛年就是Year of the Ox（不是cow哈哈哈哈），所以地道的馬年祝福核心句式是：Happy Year of the Horse！（記住，Horse用單數(shù)，前面有the）
