小學教師作業批語“你的字和你一樣丑嗎？”當地通報

4月28日晚，河南省桐柏縣教育體育局發布情況通報：

Local education authorities in Tongbai county, Henan province, have disciplined a primary school teacher for making an inappropriate comment on a student's homework, according to an official statement released on Tuesday evening.

針對媒體報道我縣清淮（原城關）四小教師作業批語措辭不當一事，縣教體局立即核查處置，現通報如下。

經查，桐柏縣清淮（原城關）四小四（4）班教師林某某在學生作業批改中，發現班級一學生字體書寫不規范，遂作出措辭不當批語。事情發生后，學校已對涉事教師嚴肅批評教育，并責令其寫出深刻檢查。同時，涉事學校及教師林某某向學生家長表示歉意，并上門慰問。

縣教體局對該校通報批評，對校長進行約談。我們將切實加強師德師風建設，杜絕此類問題再發生。

The bureau said the teacher, identified as Lin, wrote an improper remark after finding a fourth-grade student's handwriting unsatisfactory. The school has since taken disciplinary action, required the teacher to submit a written self-criticism, and issued an apology to the student's parents. Teachers have also visited the family in person.

The education bureau further issued a formal criticism of the school and summoned its principal for a meeting, pledging to strengthen professional ethics among teachers and prevent similar incidents.

據百姓關注報道，4月27日，河南南陽桐柏縣城關鎮第四小學一名四年級學生的家長反映，孩子在作業中被老師批注“你的字和你一樣丑嗎？”，認為此舉涉嫌人身攻擊。

28日，校方工作人員回應稱，涉事老師只是“開玩笑”，原意是希望學生寫字能像長相一樣帥氣，但表達方式欠妥，已與家長溝通。

The case came to public attention after a parent shared a photo of the comment online on Monday. The remark read: "Is your handwriting as ugly as you are?"

The parent accused the teacher of making a personal attack. A school official initially described the comment as a "joke" intended to encourage neater handwriting, while acknowledging that the wording was inappropriate.
